THE FIRST STEP

Make an appointment or Walk-In

CAN I GET VACCINATED NOW?

Yes, anyone 12 or older can get a vaccine.

In accordance with federal and state law, anyone over 12 can receive the Pfizer vaccine and anyone over 18 can receive the Moderna vaccine. Visit the Illinois Department of Public Health for more information

THE VACCINE

1:    We will prepare the proper dosage of the COVID-19 Vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) and administer it into your shoulder (the deltoid muscle).

2:   You will move to the Medex Medical Supplies Inc. Lab observation area where you will wait for 15 minutes (or 30 minutes if you have severe comorbidities)

3:   Our staff will be standing by to assist you.

4:   Once the observation period is complete,  you can leave the vaccination site.

THE SECOND DOSE

1:   If needed, at the site, a staff member will register you for your second dose in 21-28 days, depending on which vaccine you received.

2:   If you left before making your second appointment, please call at +1 847 278 7902

3:   Please arrive at the clinic to receive your second dose!

THE BOOSTER

1:   The CDC and FDA have approved a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot for certain individuals in the US who have been vaccinated for six month

HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER THE VACCINE?

It is normal to have certain reactions after a vaccination: There may be redness, swelling or pain around the injection site. Fatigue, fever, headache and aching limbs are also not uncommon in the first three days after vaccination. These normal vaccine reactions are usually mild and subside after a few days.
